December “things”
Welcome to December “things”! Merry Christmas everyone!
Above all is remembering Jesus and the birth of our Savior. God’s story is a beautiful one of love and sacrifice so we can spend eternity with Him in paradise, thank you God.
Christmas lights bring joy to my heart. I personally love the multi classic color Charlie Brown lights, blue tiny lights, or the twinkling warm white lights. I can get behind a good multi retro color tiny set too. I am a fan of the icicle lights…as long as I don’t have to put them up…or take them down…I will admire them from afar.
Let’s get into some holiday baked goodness fun. My favorite of all time are 7 layer bars. The classic coconut, butterscotch, chocolate and graham cracker crust is PERFECTION. A close second are Buckeye’s. The creamy peanut butter surrounded by dark chocolate are best when you eat them frozen. Yum. Of course we can’t forget peanut butter kiss cookies. I like to use the dark chocolate kisses. Christmastime is a baking bonanaza with holiday sprinkles, cookies for Santa, and gingerbread men in abundance. I cherish the memories with my family spending the entire day baking in the kitchen making the biggest mess!
