January “things”
Welcome to the first “things” of 2026!
New things. New year. New start. New. New. New. Yes. Yes. Yes.
God got me back to the beach. And more importantly…back home. To where my heart is ~ to where He wants me to be.
SOOOOO…now what? What’s next? I have asked this before and the answer is one word ~ WRITING. Write. Write. Write.
And I will. And I am. And I am in God’s will for me. Sharing His goodness. And to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important to start 2026 than to know Jesus as your personal Savior.
Amen.
My first attempt making cinnamon rolls from scratch! I have loved cinnamon rolls my entire life and have always wanted to bake my own ~ so I did! I’m quite pleased with my first try. They were yummy and warm and gooey in the best way. As you can see…I love cream cheese frosting and the more the better! Yum and Yum.
I love writing poems. It feels so freeing and energizing. Let it out. Get it out. Say it. Feel it. Write it. I can assure you I would have never envisioned myself writing poems. I was always a self professed “numbers person” and made spreadsheets for fun…yep that was me. Or so I thought. God has other plans. His plans. Bigger plans. Better plans. Happy plans that fill my heart with joy. I’m in awe of how God has worked in my life. I’m so grateful for this blog and all He has blessed me with to be used for His Kingdom work. God has given me writing that I love to share with and use to encourage others. Thank you God!
And to end…
I must say that almost makes me cry.
