May “things”
It’s time for May things!
And May is my favorite month! Of course we have Mother’s Day and I’m so grateful for that blessing from God to me. It is a gift above all gifts. We also remember those who died serving our country on Memorial Day. Love is in the air as you can read below. And May will be forever and always special in my heart because of that love. Speaking of air, there is something so special about being home and the feel and smell of the air that you know. It’s comforting and just lets you know you are where you are meant to be.
My things…Ice cream. More specifically homemade ice cream. I have memories as a child having homemade ice cream and they are so special to me. Yes, the ice cream is the best ever. And I remember vanilla more than any other flavor. And it’s that memory and the people I enjoyed it with that make it special even to this day.
God is love. That’s were love begins.
1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Love is a heart that gives. I have known someone so special in my life that lived that out more than I could describe in words. I will always cherish the gift of that love that extended to me in and lives in my heart forever. A heart so giving and so loving that will be remembered forever because love never ends.
